Surrendering the Secret
Healing the Heartbreak of Abortion

Surrendering the Secret is an 8-week closed group designed to bring together women who have faced an abortion in their past. Millions of women silently carry the pain and heartbreak of a previous abortion alone.

God desires to heal all of His children from our past and set us on a course toward the abundant life He has planned for us. Surrendering the Secret leaders are women who have been trained to minister to other women who are hurting from the pain of a past abortion. •  Covenant: God’s Enduring Promises…8 week Bible Study...Facilitated by Kay Arthur shows that the idea of covenant - God’s enduring promise - is key to understanding our relationship to God. Covenant explores God’s initiatives with humanity by studying His covenants throughout history. The eight-week format touches on the most important aspects of covenant:     

  
  

  Faithful, Abundant, True: Three Lives Going Deeper Still - 7 Week Bible Study facilitated by Merry Waybright

  ...Join Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, and Priscilla Shirer in a women's Bible study recorded live at the Orlando “Deeper Still” conference.
  While these three women each speak on the distinctive topic the Holy Spirit has led them to teach, the messages result in a marvelous blend.

  Kay Arthur teaches from basically, the entire book of Hebrews! Hebrews is both an example of God's faithfulness and a challenge to believers to be faithful in difficult times.

  Priscilla Shirer teaches from Ephesians 3:20-21 on God's abundance. A fundamental basis for every believer is the absolute reality that God can do whatever He chooses to do. God's ability empowers our faithfulness.

   Beth Moore teaches on the topic of discernment. In these difficult days, it is absolutely essential that we learn to trust the Holy Spirit to enable us to determine what is true and what is false.

 Moms In Christ - (MIC do not meet during the summer. They will start again in the fall on August 24th) You are invited to attend Moms in Christ, a ministry of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Our purpose is to support mothers in our community by providing weekly Christian fellowship and Bible study.  We meet every Tuesday from 10:00 to 12 noon.  Childcare is provided and we have special activities for the children each week.  For more information call the church office at 726-7335. 

Mission Statement:  Moms in Christ will reach out to mothers in Citrus County through a weekly support group based on Biblical principles that provide Bible Study, prayer, support, encouragement, Christian fellowship and a children's program centered on Jesus.  

 Cornerstone Crafty Ladies - Come join our Cornerstone Crafty Ladies on the 3^rd Wednesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Our ladies enjoy a time of fellowship together as well as ministering to the community. They have made chemo caps for cancer patients, crochet caps for the babies in the hospital, lap quilts for patients in the VA hospital and many other projects. The ladies also enjoying making craft items to decorate their homes. 

    Working Christian Women . . . Meet every other Tuesday evening at 6:30.  Call the church office at 726-7335 for the scheduled dates.  The Working Christian Women sponsor Cinderella's Closet.
