Gwen is a speaker, concert artist, songwriter and worship leader who inspires women toward the heart of God through stories, songs and Scripture. Her fun, enthusiastic and relatable communication style puts audiences at ease and bridges generational, denominational, and racial divides. As a co-founder of the conference and devotional ministry, Girlfriends In God, Gwen has helped thousands of women experience how the Word of God and the power of Grace, through Jesus Christ, rejuvenates faith and enriches lives.

Gwen has shared her stories and songs on The 700 Club, The Good Life, The Harvst Show, Atlanta Live and many other television and radio programs. She is the author of a book titled "Broken Into Beautiful", which shares the same title as a heart-stirring song that she co-wrote and recorded.

Today, Gwen and the minitry team at Girlfriends In God encourage more than 500,000 women daily through their online devotions. In addition, she is a recording artist with Great Worship Songs and a staff songwriter for both Brentwood-Benson Music Publishing and Sunday Best Music Publishing. Her newest CD, "Unclutterd" was released in 2011.

Those who know her best, say she is a car-pooling, coffee-drinking, chocolate-craving, Jesus loving wife and mother who struggles with dirty dishes, everyday life, messy piles, mountains of laundry, complicated relationships and cellulite.

Gwens top priority is her family. Gwen and her husband, Brad, have been married since 1993 and are blessed with three cool kids, Preston, Hunter and Kennedy. In her spare time, she cheers her kids on in the ballgames, plays the guitar, relaxes at the piano and chats with her girlfriends.

Can We Talk? Soul-stirring Conversations with God -by Priscilla Shirer facilitated by Tracie Stokes.

This study provides a personal study experience for this women's Bible study that delivers familiar spiritual disciplines through a fresh, new method of teaching. The Member Book includes an introduction, followed by 6 weeks of study, 5 days a week. As women respond to a variety of biblical passages, prompted by thought-provoking questions, they'll develop a Christ-focused view on important issues and experience a closer walk with their Creator. (7 sessions)

This Bible Study...

7 sessions, approximately 10 - 15 minutes each make it ideal for busy women
Provides tools for the student to develop her own Bible study and prayer life

You are invited to attend Moms in Christ, a ministry of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Our purpose is to support mothers in our community by providing weekly Christian Fellowship and Bible study. We meet every Tuesday from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Childcare is provided and we have special activities for the children each week. For more information call the church office at 726-7335.

Mission Statement: Moms in Christ will reach out to mothers in Citrus County through a weekly support group based on Biblical principles that provide Bible study, prayer, support, encouragement, Christian fellowship and a children's program centered on Jesus.

Bible Study: MIC will be participating in the stand alone studies from Beth Moore called "Wising Up", which is a study of Proverbs. The study will begin on Tuesday, January 17, 2012.

Cornerstone Crafty Ladies - Come join our Cornerstone Crafty Ladies on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Our ladies enjoy a time of fellowship together as well as ministering to the community. They have made chemo caps for cancer patients, crochet caps for the babies in the hospital, lap quilts for patients in the VA hospital and many other projects. The ladies also enjoying making craft items to decorate their homes.

Working Christian Women . . . Meet every other Tuesday evening at 6:30. Class begins February 7^th from 6:30 to 7:30 in the evening. Child Care is provided.
